Who we are
biolitec AG, based in Vienna, Austria, is one of the world's leading manufacturers of laser medical devices.
In this context, we primarily develop laser devices and laser fibers for minimally invasive, gentle laser therapies. Our medical laser procedures are mainly offered for the treatment of benign prostate enlargement as well as for the removal of varicose veins, hemorrhoids and anal fistulas.
Another business area is photodynamic therapy for the treatment of cancer, in which tumor cells are destroyed by means of a light-sensitive drug and controlled irradiation with laser light.
In 2022 we expanded our product range. With the beyondRED® PRO a portable LED light therapy device was developed, which can be used for sports & muscle injuries, pain treatment and wound healing.
