Während der Behandlung nimmt der Patient eine leichte Erwärmung des behandelten Areals wahr, die allerdings meist als durchaus angenehm empfunden wird. Nach kurzer Behandlungsdauer schaltet zusätzlich ein Lüfter ein, welcher die Temperatur reguliert. Je nach zu behandelnder Verletzung und dem entsprechenden Areal werden mehrere Behandlungen über einen Zeitraum von 1-3 Wochen empfohlen.
